How does the TOGETHER® 3500 Plug-in hot and cold plate open up new possibilities for temporary catering stations and serving trolleys?

The hot and cold plate combines heating and cooling in one unit. At just 80 mm high and 8 kg, it offers great installation flexibility. Designers can create solutions that would be difficult with the size and weight of conventional refrigeration. Space beneath the plate can be used for shelves, drawers or other purposes, or left open. The TOGETHER® 3500 Plug-in hot and cold plate can be permanently installed or used as a removable unit.

Discover the benefits of the TOGETHER® 3500 cooling plate with warming function

TOGETHER® hot and cold plates generate cooling electrically, without bulky compressors or environmentally harmful refrigerants. In addition to the supplied multi-voltage power supply, the plate can run on 24 V batteries; energy-saving solar-powered solutions are also conceivable. This provides extra flexibility for serving chilled or warm food at the guest's table, or taking food to a guest room without a fixed mains connection while continuing to cool or warm it. This supports food quality and HACCP requirements for the benefit of guests.

How does the TOGETHER® hot and cold plate save on installation and running costs?

Installation and maintenance are straightforward: there are no refrigeration compressors, refrigerant pipes or other complex installation steps. No refrigeration or air-conditioning technician is needed for installation. This saves installation costs and avoids regular, costly specialist servicing during the unit's service life.

You'll find the relevant function and application videos in the video overview.

How does the TOGETHER® hot and cold plate save your service team time?

Place your serving plate or platter of food on the hot and cold plate and select warm or cold. That's it – cooling or warming around the clock, without extra work.

No more ice baths or cooling elements, handling ice cubes or crushed ice, or pre-chilling eutectic plates and ice packs.

There's no need to change the cooling or heating equipment. Simply move the switch between warm, off and cool.

TOGETHER® 3500 hot and cold plates are ideal as removable units in temporary catering stations and mobile equipment. With no conventional refrigeration system, they tolerate vibration and bumps. At just 8 kg, they are easy to transport and store – a practical benefit for your team.

Where can these hot and cold plates be used?

In principle, almost anywhere. These removable hot and cold plates are especially useful in serving trolleys and mobile equipment for event catering, exhibitions and shopfitting, or wherever designers want to create slim, high-quality chilled food displays.

Elegant design

The satin-finish metal surface and rounded corners complement almost any counter material and give the buffet an elegant look. Choose a flush or raised installation. The 36 × 56 cm size works well with serving plates, bowls and cups that fit the GN system.

Easy installation

Cut an opening in the worktop of your serving trolley or temporary catering station and insert the hot and cold plate. Make sure air can flow freely into and out of the underside. Connect the power supply to the plate, and you're ready to go.

Flush installation

The TOGETHER® 3500 hot and cold plate can be installed flush with the buffet counter. For permanent installation, apply a bead of silicone between the plate and the worktop.

Raised installation

In a raised installation, the metal surface of the model 3500 hot and cold plate projects approximately 11 mm above the counter, creating a visible accent.

Cool / Off / Warm switch

The warm/off/cool switch is fitted underneath the plate. The TOGETHER® 3500 is suitable for permanent installation in counter furniture or removable use in temporary catering stations and mobile equipment. No separate wiring is needed for the controls. The furniture must be open so the plate can draw in fresh air, release warm air and allow staff to reach the switch.
